Warning on Suspicious Emails

Good morning,

The Brunswick Housing Authority has discovered an email address that has been compromised and was used to issue many fraudulent messages requesting payment, or to open an email attachment. If you have received an email from "kwalker@brunswickpha.org" asking to open an email attachment or asking to remit payment, please disregard and delete the message immediately.

Upon discovering the breach, the email address has been secured and all unauthorized access was terminated. Root cause analysis is being conducted to identify the issue and implement safeguards to prevent it from happening in the future.
