2026 Don McGlamory Educational Scholarship

Applications Now Available

The Don McGlamory Educational Scholarship supports BHA Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher residents who plan to pursue higher education during the 2026-2027 academic year. Established in 2008, this scholarship helps students work toward independence and long-term success.

Who Is Eligible?

• BHA Public Housing residents • Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) participants • Graduating high school seniors or individuals with a high school diploma/GED • Students attending or planning to attend a college, university, or technical/vocational program in Georgia • Applicants with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher (for current or past college attendees)

Packet Includes

• Application form • Transcript requirements • Three letters of recommendation • Typed essay instructions

How to Apply

The full scholarship packet is available along with an online application, but all interested applicants must contact the Brunswick Housing Authority directly for full details and access.
