Request for Proposal: Professional I.T. Services

Brunswick Housing Authority

The Brunswick Housing Authority is accepting bids for professional services related to cyber security and awareness for I.T. staff, as well as advisors for existing or new infrastructure.  We invite qualified vendors to submit a proposal in writing or email to the specific requirements set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Solicitation will open on Monday, August 22nd, 2022 at 9:00 AM, and all applications are due by Monday, August 29th, 2022 at 9:00 AM.

Proposals must be submitted with all the required submissions included.  Failure to comply may preclude consideration of the proposal.  Each vendor is responsible for full and complete compliance with all laws, rules and regulations which may be applicable. Any and all questions must be submitted either in writing at the Administration Building located at 1126 Albany Street, Brunswick, Ga. 31520, or via email to sysadmin@brunswickpha.org.

Scope of service:

BHA intends to award contract to those who provide the following I.T. services:

• Cyber security and awareness training for staff
• Solution for off-site access to Active Directory with respect to folder redirection/file accessibility
• Email security solution and awareness training for staff
• Network infrastructure advisory and solutions implementation

An appointment with the Director of I.T. to examine existing security and networking infrastructure is mandatory. An accurate understanding of current infrastructure is imperative for the purpose of achieving accurate estimations of work required.

NOTE: any and all conversations will be kept confidential between Vendor and BHA Administrative staff until the bid winner is awarded.  All interested parties should visit the Administration Building or call the Director of I.T. at 912-265-1334 ext. 111 to set an appointment.

There will be at least two on-premises Microsoft Active Directory, two DNS, one File and Storage Services, and one Terminal servers to be evaluated. Advisors on matters such as Azure Active Directory migration will be discussed.
